History (Brief History and Milestones of the School)
The school had its inception through the visionary foresight of Late. Rev. Fr. Joseph Menezes who in all his humility, started the first school in the Dudhni in the year 1966. The school is for the Adivasi Students living in the remotest environmental living condition. Since then the school with all its struggles and challenges has flourished exceptionally. The school provides free education No any sort of fees like educational or tuition fee is been charged from the students. The school has also provided free uniforms and books in whatever way possible through the leadership of GES i.e. Gyanmata Educational Society. The Society tries to provide and support the schools in its Educational activities, co curriculum and Educational facilities.
Gyanmata Educational Society:
Gyanmata Educational Society (GES), founded in 1985, and registered at Silvassa- Dadra and Nagar Haveli, under the Societies Registration Act 1860, bears Registration Number 85/2. Gyanmata Educational Society has been working among the Adivasi community of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, especially in the field of education. It has pioneered education in the mother tongue of the people, by starting vernacular medium schools, both in Marathi and Gujarati mediums. Since its inception, GES has strived to take education to the most remote of villages in the area.
In the schools, even today, free education is provided by GES to over 3000 children studying in different schools. Our Alumni is making valuable contribution to society, through their services as nurses, teachers, forest officers, panchayat members, and various departments both in the government and private sector, and lately, even as doctors.

The school strives to Teach them to arrive to the Truth by gaining the Wisdom hidden in the universe and to achieve the Freedom in stored for every individual as an Indian citizen. Burning Flame Depicts the flame filled with Christ’s love that consumes every Xavierite to serve without seeing the sacrifice involved. The School calls upon each and every member to impart education to the Children of Dudhni.
Virtues: the School focuses to inculcate the values of Truth, Wisdom, Freedom, Unity, Peace and Knowledge.
Cross: Depicts the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Two Persons represent the human desire to adore the lord with joy in their heart.
