“The Gyanmata Educational Society, registered in 1982, is a testament to the enduring vision and dedication of the Pilar Society (Pilar Fathers). Witnessing the pervasive illiteracy and its societal impact in the region of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the Pilar Fathers embarked on a mission to spearhead social change through education. Their initial efforts focused on establishing elementary and middle Marathi Medium schools for the local Adivasi population, laying the groundwork for widespread literacy.
Over the years, our commitment to progress led to the introduction of English Medium education, most notably through institutions like Gyanmata English High School, Khanvel. We believe that by providing access to quality education in both regional and global languages, we equip our students with the tools to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
